A few weeks ago I received my copy of Laurel’s Kitchen Bread Book. Second-hand, posted all the way from the USA, I can’t quite remember what made me buy it but I am so very glad I did. This book is a great read for anyone interested in Whole Grain Breadmaking, full of knowledge born out of many hours of experimentation by the authors.
The loaf for learning is the first one you come across whilst going through their introduction of the principles of baking. I tried it and it did not disappoint – a deliciously fluffy, 100% wholemeal loaf that you will just want to eat in one go.
