I am passionate about real bread. That’s why I support the Real Bread Campaign and invite anyone reading this to do the same.
I like to know where my food comes from and what goes into it. And I love knowing that my bread is made with the best ingredients I can buy. The flour comes from mills in the UK – mostly Shipton Mill at the moment. If using commercial yeast I always use organic one. The seeds are also organic. I can’t promise that all elements in the final product will be organic, but I will always try to get the best ingredients available to me.
I bake real bread in line with the campaign’s ethos: “Real Bread is that made without the use of processing aids or any other artificial additives.” You can read all about it here.
If you ever want to know what goes into a specific loaf, just get in touch.
